Over Naperville, nice shot by Jeff Kohlert

The airplane showing off for the motorhome

I think the airplane was mad for all the time and attention the coach was getting.

Here they are together! Princess and 3PO

Forget the airplanes with a parachute! We have Superman for help. Notice dual yoke-mounted moving-map GPS.

A perfect landing on a nice fall day

Notice the nice flair. Gonna' be a "greaser!"

Gotta' get gas!

C3PO uses regalar 87 octane autogas - nice on the pocketbook and the environment.

Cherokee speed profiles...

Can't remember whether I was dropping out of warp drive or just breaking the sound barrier when this picture was snapped!

Almost 12,700' and still climbing...s l o w l y

On March 18, 2006, in preparation for a possible trip out west, I decided to see how high she would climb. My goal was 12,500' - but I actually kept going until I hit 14,000', where we leveled off due to oxygen considerations.

Byron nuclear power plant from ~ 13,000'

Same day, March 18th, well above the tiny clouds, I took this pic of the Byron plant.

Never fly alone!

Supervising from the rear deck, Happy keeps flying fun, Sassy Lassie jiggles with excitement and C3PO worries about everything and keeps us safe.

Cessna 152 that I used to fly at PWK - "Jaws"

Now that is "noseart"

Pepe the Old turns keys over to Brandon the Young

The sale occurred Sunday, May 11, 2008 after an eventful flight and ultimately very fast flight into Texas.

New ride - Turbo Arrow at Campbell Apt. in Grayslake

Not the same as having my own, but 170+ mph, retractible gear, 20,000', turbocharged, 3 bladed constant speed prop...is nice. A "trip" airplane.
